Rolex S.A. has appointed Jean-Frédéric Dufour, CEO of LVMH brand Zenith, as its third CEO in the last six years.
The appointment will take place on a “date to be determined,” according to a terse statement from the company’s Geneva headquarters, “in agreement with the company’s standing CEO, Gian Riccardo Marini.”
Marini served in the position for less than three years. He took over from Bruno Meier, who was appointed in 2008.
Dufour is the sixth CEO in the company’s history. Prior to 2008, the company had only three leaders, with founder Hans Wilsdorf’s followed by André Heiniger and son Patrick Heiniger.
