It’s been four years since jeweler to the stars Robert Procop and actress Brooke Shields first collaborated on a jewelry line, but the codesigners unveiled their second Legacy Brooke collection last week during the Couture show in Las Vegas. Select retailers and press had an opportunity to see the new pieces at a one-day-only exhibition held in one of Wynn hotel’s private villas.
In 2015, Procop told JCK: “Brooke has traced her ancestry down to King Louis the XIV, the King of France,” explains Procop. “Purple is known to be a color of royalty and is a great representation of her and the collection.”
Naturally, amethysts were central to the inaugural collection and are also included in the new range, but this time, Procop and Shields are largely focused on a more muted, chic, and feminine palette expressed in rose quartz, white quartz, pink and white sapphires, and white jade.
As was the case previously, the proceeds garnered from sales of the collection go to benefit House of Ruth, a transitional housing and program for women and children. The charity provides shelter, prevention programs, opportunities, counseling, and education to those rebuilding their lives after domestic violence.
At press time, retail prices were still being finalized, but here’s a peek at some of the (very glamorous) jewels.
