The Diamond District–based New York Jewelry Design Institute is offering a five-day course on rendering and watercolor techniques from seasoned designer Rémy Rotenier. The class takes place in the school’s midtown location Nov. 16–20 from 9 am to 6 pm daily. The fee is $1,295.
Rotenier has served as a staff designer for Tiffany & Co, as design director for Kabana, and now for his own Rémy Design as well as presenting his own line for JTV.
“Being able to draw better will feel like knowing a new language, and people love seeing design come to life before their eyes,” explains Rotenir. “Rendering is a wonderful communications and selling tool.”
