If there’s luggage that has the strength and durability of a diamond, it’s Rimowa’s—so a collaboration with a brand synonymous with diamonds was bound to happen. The German luggage manufacturer and Tiffany & Co. have teamed up to create three pieces for those who jet-set with their jewels: a suitcase and large jewelry case that are accented in the jeweler’s iconic blue, and a smaller jewelry case fully in that color.
The limited-edition travel collection is available starting today at Tiffany & Co.’s Fifth Avenue flagship, the Landmark, in New York City and online from Rimowa. Here’s a look at the pieces.
Inspired by the facets of a diamond, this suitcase’s design is inscribed with Tiffany’s signature T. The lightweight, carry-on-size piece also has Tiffany Blue accents at the handles, wheels, and interior straps, and it comes with a Tiffany Blue luggage tag.
Rimowa adapted its Personal model specifically for jewelry with this 8-by-5-by-2.7-inch case in Tiffany Blue that features six nonremovable interior jewelry compartments, all secured by leather straps.
This first-ever vanity case crafted by Rimowa is made of aluminum, with Tiffany Blue leather lining and accents. Measuring 14 inches wide, 10.25 inches deep, and 9.25 inches high, the case has three interior levels (the top two removable) and a mirror on the inside of the top, with a sterling silver plaque beneath it that can be engraved and personalized.
