Richard H. Michaels, president of Michaels Enterprises, the Waterbury Conn.-based retailer, announced his retirement after 32 years of service.
He will be succeeded by Mark Michaels. Paul Michaels serves as the company’s vice president.
The company currently operates 10 Michaels Jewelers locations in Connecticut and 10 Pandora stores in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Arizona.
Michaels was founded in 1885. Richard Michaels is the fourth generation of the Michaels family to head the company.
