Michael Rae, CEO of the Responsible Jewellery Council, is stepping down effective Nov. 19 to pursue opportunities closer to his Melbourne, Australia, home.
Until a successor is announced, Catherine Sproule will serve as interim CEO of the London-based standards-setting and certification organization.
Rae held the post of chief executive of the RJC for seven years.
