Beautiful women wearing jewelry—it’s the romantic notion that holds our entire industry aloft, whether you’re in the business of designing the jewels she’ll wear or selling them to her admirers (or, as is often the case, to women shopping for themselves).

So far this year we’ve had the Golden Globes and the SAG Awards red carpets to fan the flames of fantasy and, on a more practical note, alert us to trends. To tide us over until the Oscars in March, here are some beautiful women—Victoria’s Secret models—wearing extraordinary diamond pieces at various red carpet events.

Does their VS connection make the jewels sparkle more? That’s a matter of opinion, but with February 14 on the horizon, this seemed like the perfect Valentine’s Day treat.
