Did demand for the three-stone engagement ring ever go away? Probably not.

But if royal family admirers plan to get engaged anytime soon, they may be influenced by the lovely Meghan Markle, who snagged herself the prize of Prince Harry of Wales (condolences to my fellow Harry lovers) with a three-stone sparkler of her own. The yellow gold ring, designed by the prince himself, features a center diamond from Botswana, sandwiched by two diamonds from the private collection of Princess Diana (you can read all about the engagement here, courtesy of our own Emili Vesilind).

While you may have some requests for a lookalike, don’t stop there: The classic three-stone silhouette can be dressed up with colored gemstones, halos, different shapes, and more—variety is the spice of life. Hell, I might even want one for my right hand, so the style isn’t limited to brides-to-be. Here are some of my favorite examples, recently shared by a number of really great jewelry brands.
