Kering-owned jewelry manufacturer Pomellato announced today it has acquired Valenza Setting Lab (VSL).
Both Pomellato and VSL are based in Italy—in Milan and Valenza, respectively.
The acquisition is meant to reinforce Pomellato’s manufacturing capabilities, particularly in the diamond and precious stone setting segment, the company said in a statement. Terms were not disclosed.
Valenza Setting Lab was founded by Marcello Monti and Gilberto Dentelli and employs 24 people. Its setters had worked for another Valenza-based company, MG Incassatura, a longtime partner of Pomellato.
Kering purchased a majority stake in Pomellato in 2013.
