Platinum Guild International USA, the U.S. global marketing arm for the worldwide platinum jewelry industry, has appointed Kevin Reilly, manager of Industry Relations. Stationed in PGI-USA’s New York office, Reilly will report to Jenny Luker, senior vice president.
Reilly brings 25 years of brand building, merchandising and sales experience, since he began his career at Macy’s.
Reilly joins PGI-USA from Taché USA, where he served as vice president of Sales and Marketing. Reilly launched the luxury brand Nikos (a division of Taché USA)—the company’s first-ever brand devoted to men’s fine jewelry. Prior to Taché USA, Reilly served as director of New Business Development and Customer Relations for Lazare Kaplan International, the only publicly-traded diamond manufacturer in the U.S. At Kaplan, Reilly launched the company’s “In-store Boutique” program generating visual brand recognition in 200 retail stores worldwide. Reilly was also responsible for launching Lazare Kaplan’s Web site (www.lazarediamonds.com), which serves retailers and consumers.
As manager of Industry Relations, Reilly will be responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with the industry, primarily among the East Coast trade. He will also be responsible for addressing industry challenges at all stages of the supply chain (from bench jewelers to retailers), as well as communicating PGI-USA’s integrated marketing programs to the industry.
