We may be anticipating fall and winter, but this time of year in the fashion business, it’s all about next spring.
That shouldn’t seem too far-fetched for many jewelry retailers, who have their eyes on the styles that might pique clients’ interests post–holiday shopping. If 3.1 Phillip Lim‘s recent New York Fashion Week show is any indication, those styles will be polished, light, and airy—with plenty of pearls.
The jewels featured in the 3.1 Phillip Lim show—an event where the clothing and accessories brand celebrated its 20th anniversary—came by way of a collaboration with Switzerland-based jeweler Pacharee. Designer Pacharee-Sophie interpreted Phillip Lim’s theme, “Memories of Joy,” through vibrant shades of aquamarine and turquoise, paired with her signature pearls.
Made of 18k gold–plated silver (with some options available in solid gold), the pieces are mixable, matchable, and layerable. They include pearl and gold strands, statement earrings, and even an ankle bracelet with a charm that can be removed to adorn a bag—one of the most exciting items in the collection.
Pacharee’s collab with Phillip Lim has us looking forward to spring and summer 2025 before we’ve even rounded out 2024. And if customers are looking to score a holiday gift that will keep on giving, one of these would most certainly be it.
