Diamond and gemstone security specialist Opsydia has appointed Jimmy Gove (pictured) as its sales and marketing specialist.
Gove has more than a decade of experience in the diamond and jewelry world. He most recently served as digital projects manager at the Bonas Group in London, the world’s largest independent diamond and gemstone tender and auction house. There, he developed and managed the firm’s digital transformation strategy, as well as its tender and auction sales and analytics platform, currently used by international mining companies and private sellers. He also worked closely with large diamond and jewelry companies as a senior consultant and De Beers broker.
Gove holds a master’s degree in architecture from Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge.
This past September, Opsydia secured significant funding to enable the wider rollout of its laser inscription technology.
