When a reality show ends with a proposal, the diamond is front and center

An oval-cut diamond took the spotlight last week when Jordan Rodgers proposed to JoJo Fletcher during the season finale of The Bachelorette.

The 3 ct. oval-shape diamond set in a diamond-encrusted platinum band was designed by Neil Lane, the official jeweler of the franchise, which also includes The Bachelor.

“I really enjoyed working with Jordan to select a ring for JoJo,” said Neil Lane in a statement. “It was cool because he wanted something truly beautiful, and he was so focused on finding the perfect ring for her. When he saw this one, he just lit up—you could tell he knew right away.”

This week the ring makes its print debut on the cover of People.
