I don’t really believe in jinxes, but my mind-set may change considering the Vivaan triangular tanzanite pendant necklace I professed love for yesterday is not coming to our set today after all! Another photo-shoot casualty, as the store it was in wasn’t shipping after all. I’m disappointed, but will be thrilled for Vivaan if it sells. That’s what we’re here for anyway—to inspire retailers to buy and sell beautiful pieces by highlighting their uniqueness and/or rarity.
But what we do have here on set for our model photography is not a shabby mix by any means. The Goldstein Diamonds ruby and diamond bracelet I had been pining for since JCK Las Vegas did arrive to the studio via UPS this morning—at which point I did a little happy dance in my head. Diamond and yellow gold pieces from Bavna came in, as did a surprise delivery from Madhuri Parson. Mimi So and David Yurman did a drop for us, too. In all, I think we have a lovely and high-luxury holiday mix that will have readers ready to start selling their own tony selections come October.
