Oded Edelman Is Leaving Signet

Share

Oded Edelman, the former James Allen CEO who’s run Signet Jewelers’ digital banners for the past seven years, will depart Signet, the company announced in an Oct. 21 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Corinne Bentzen will succeed Edelman as Signet’s president of digital banners, starting Nov. 4.

Bentzen recently served as CEO of the Company Store, a division of the Home Depot. Prior to that, she held marketing and merchandising roles at Tiffany & Co., and spent more than 10 years with Procter & Gamble in brand management.

Edelman joined Signet as chief digital innovation officer in 2017, following Signet’s purchase of James Allen. In 2023, his portfolio grew to include oversight of Blue Nile. Edelman also headed and cofounded James Allen’s parent, R2Net, a diamond technology company that Signet purchased along with James Allen.

Edelman’s exit comes on the heels of Signet CEO Gina Drosos’ decision to retire on Nov. 4, though at press time it wasn’t clear if the two departures were related.
