Nouvel Heritage has achieved what many brands hope to—become instantly recognized by its designs—and the Paris-based jeweler has done so in a relatively short period of time.
In just 10 years, Nouvel Heritage’s subtly brilliant, elegant jewels have captured the adoration of consumers. One piece in particular has led the charge: the Nouvel Heritage Mood bangle.
With its distinctive clasp, inspired by the style of a piercing, Mood bangles perfect the art of being perfectly collectible. They’re simple enough to slip into a bracelet stack, yet so extraordinary that you can tell exactly where they’re from.
Founded in 2015 in New York by Parisian designer Camille Parruitte McKenna, Nouvel Heritage has found its way back to France, its jewelry manufactured by MCGP Group, a company run by the Parruitte family. In Camille’s designs you can see her influences from both New York and Paris: a sleek, modern design with discreet, purposeful touches of artful detail.
For its 10th anniversary, Nouvel Heritage has introduced a collection of 10 one-of-a-kind Mood bangles, Wild Garden. They have names like the Early Riser, the Botanical Dreamer, and the Lemonade Maker, and were all inspired by the orchards and vegetable gardens surrounding the home of Camille’s grandparents, where the future designer would spend hours playing outdoors with her sister when they were children. “Already at that age I was impressed by the complex balance of an ecosystem that had so many surprises in store,” Camille said in a statement on the collection.
Various gemstone cuts are arranged on polished 18k yellow gold to emulate what Camille remembers observing at the property. So the Wild Garden bangles offer mini diamond bouquets, bright red spinel pomegranates, yellow sapphire lemons, pink tourmaline tulips, and a gravel pathway—which no French garden is complete without—comprising diamonds and black spinel.
