While Erik Stewart’s youthful appearance—he barely looks of age to walk through a casino, let alone exhibit at a trade show—may suggest he’s a newbie, his designs are anything but unsophisticated, particularly considering his choice of metals. This year at JCK Las Vegas, Stewart debuted a pair of platinum hoop earrings with color-treated diamonds in his signature high-polish finish with sleek, sculpted effects. Inspired by Hans Hollein—a Viennese architect who designed the Juwelier Schullin store in Vienna—the earrings feature tubes of various lengths and diameters as well as cutout piercings that echo the same effects. They retail for $4,000.
