Today, e-tailer Net-a-Porter is launching EIP Privé, an invitation-only site that will offer high-end jewelry and watch brands.
Among the brands it plans to list: Boehmer et Bassenge, Piaget, Boghossian, Bayco, Nadia Morgenthaler, and Giampiero Bodino.
The new site aims to bring “the experience of the private jewelry salon to the digital realm,” according to a statement, and it will include a dedicated personal shopper.
EIP Privé will also offer access to personalized services including customization, bespoke requests, and sourcing one-of-a-kind pieces. It promises “secure pick up and hand delivery.”
The site plans to expand further into watches and men’s items later this year, in conjunction with Net-a-Porter’s sister site, Mr. Porter.
Last year, the e-tailer opened a portion of its site dedicated to fine jewelry and watches, featuring more than 40 brands. Designer Martin Katz talked about his experience selling on the site here.
In June, it debuted Net Sustain, dedicated to luxury brands, including jewelers, that practice sustainability.
