MJ Christensen Diamonds will honor bridal designer Judith
Conway during an evening celebration of the 100th Anniversary of International
Women’s Day, March 8, 6 p.m.–-8 p.m. in Henderson, Nev.
“Judith Conway paved the way for women in the jewelry
industry.” said MJ Christensen Darlene Miller in a statement.
“Raising three children on her own (one of them being blind), traveling
the road as one of the very first female traveling salespersons in our
industry, certainly demonstrates the ‘can-do’ attitude of this beautiful
lady.”
The festivities will feature a display by local artist
Jennifer Maine and a sampling of sweets by Cupkates by Kate’s Katie Thompson.
A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit the National
Association for Moms in Business, founded by local Nevadan Gina Robison-Billups.
