The Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC) will give its 2024 Stanley Schechter Award to Matthew G. Stuller Sr., founder and CEO of Stuller Inc.
Stuller will receive the award, which recognizes someone who goes above and beyond in upholding industry ethics and making a positive impact on the community, at the JVC’s annual luncheon, to be held March 8 at the InterContinental Barclay hotel in New York.
Stuller founded his Lafayette, La.–based company in 1970 and has built it into a global powerhouse, producing over 340,000 jewelry-related products. His commitment to philanthropy includes supporting the Stuller Family Foundation—which makes grants and investments to organizations devoted to education, environmental stewardship, animal rescue, and arts and culture—as well as local charities Parish Proud and Love Our Schools.
“Matt Stuller’s legacy is not just in the success of Stuller Inc., but in his profound commitment to ethical business practices that resonate throughout the jewelry industry and beyond,” said the JVC in a statement.
