The new Marina B boutique in New York City will showcase heritage pieces from the longstanding fine jewelry brand as well as more contemporary designs by its creative director, Guy Bedarida.
Located at 673 Madison Ave., the store is scheduled to open to the public on April 11. This opening marks a special moment for Marina B—which is preparing for its 50th anniversary in 2026—and in the evolution of luxury brands along Madison Avenue, says Bedarida.
“The opening also marks the homecoming of Marina B to Madison Avenue, where the first generation of our collectors congregated in the 1980s,” he says. “We look forward to seeing many of them again, as well as introducing our signature style to many new friends.”

Marina B was founded in 1976 by Marina Bulgari, who left her famous family’s jewelry company to set up her own business. She opened her first boutique in Geneva in 1978, then added locations in other cities, including New York, where Marina B opened in 1986 on Madison Avenue at 68th Street.
The brand was revolutionary, Bedarida says, because Marina Bulgari’s classic aesthetic and innovative excellence inspired a generation of women to purchase jewels for themselves, which was then a groundbreaking shift.
Bulgari sold the business to private investors in the late 1990s, around the same time that her New York boutique closed. Windsor Jewelers acquired the brand in 2010, and Bedarida—who’d previously worked with Boucheron, Van Cleef & Arpels, and John Hardy—became its majority owner in 2017. He says he seeks to honor Marina Bulgari’s iconic designs while updating and expanding on them for today’s clients.

The new Manhattan store will carry Marina B’s signature collections, including Trisolina and Ondine, and also offer one-of-a-kind high jewelry creations that reflect the Marina B heritage and bold spirit, Bedarida says. The boutique will also have a space where clients can meet one-on-one with Bedarida or a member of his design team (previously, clients came by appointment to Marina B’s salon at 18 E. 67th St.).
“Opening our boutique on Madison Avenue is an invitation to our customers and collectors to experience the world of Marina B jewelry in a dedicated, bespoke environment,” says Bedarida. “The Marina B woman, in her uniqueness, her discerning eye, and joie de vivre now has a dedicated space in which to explore the full range of Marina B jewelry, from the everyday, always wearable collections to the one-of-a-kind pieces created exclusively for the boutique.”
Bedarida describes the new boutique as a jewel box that uses Marina B’s characteristic bright colors. Its furnishings evoke the 1980s, with distinctive shapes and sleek lines, he adds. Decor will center on Marina Bulgari’s original sketches of high jewelry pieces from the brand’s archives.
“And, of course, we will decorate with the jewels themselves, in keeping with our belief that jewelry is a work of art,” Bedarida says.
