The British jeweler known for its cheeky sense of humor is taking its latest role quite seriously: maker of the official jewelry collection of the London 2012 Olympics.
Items in its 150-plus–piece collection of silver jewelry, including cufflinks and charms, feature themes like gold discs and Olympic mascot charms, as well as such iconic British symbols as double-decker buses, teacups, and the Union Jack flag. Among the styles are woven cord bracelets with engraved sterling plaques that retail for $35. The brand says a limited number are available for purchase, and is encouraging wearers to tweet pictures to @Links_of_London in the spirit and camaraderie of the Games.
Wrist candy with cool packaging: The test tube is like a nonflammable torch or a baton, but with a cavity to contain your own inspiring handwritten message to be passed on to other Olympic spectators. #olympics #spiritofthegames #London2012
