Lightbox, De Beers’ lab-grown diamond brand, has appointed Adam O’Grady as chief operating officer.

O’Grady currently serves as the general manager of the Element Six team at the Lightbox lab, overseeing operations and engineering at its production facility in Gresham, Ore. He will continue in this role and, as chief operating officer, take on overall responsibility for Lightbox’s supply chain and manufacturing activity.

O’Grady has spent the entirety of his professional career at Element Six and has held a series of general management and senior project roles for the last 10 years. He will transition to the chief operating officer role on March 27 and will be based in Gresham.

Lightbox appointed Antoine Borde as its CEO in November. O’Grady will report to Borde.
