Designer Monique Lhuillier has found another home for her jewelry.
The celebrated bridal gown designer has created a new 25-piece engagement ring collection for Helzberg Diamonds, according to a statement from the Kansas City, Mo.–based chain.
The new Lhuillier collection of semi-mount engagement rings features flower-petal shapes and hand engraving, “reflect[ing] the designer’s flair for modern femininity,” says a Helzberg statement. Ring prices range from $599 to $2,999.
Lhuillier has a long-standing deal to design engagement rings, wedding bands, and fashion pieces for e-tailer Blue Nile. The designer’s press representative says that Lhuillier will continue to create items for Blue Nile, as well as items for Helzberg. The two lines are not aimed at different price points, she added.
Neither Helzberg Diamonds nor Blue Nile responded to requests for comment.
Some of Lhuillier’s Blue Nile items were highlighted during New York Bridal Fashion Week last November.
Lhuillier was the first noted name that Blue Nile brought in board in 2012, when the e-tailer decided to pivot into offering more fashion product. Shortly after the line premiered, CEO Harvey Kanter hailed sales of the designer’s line as a “phenomenal success story.”
Lhuillier’s new collection for Helzberg was praised in a statement by Julie Yoakum, the retailer’s chief merchandising officer and a Blue Nile veteran.
“Helzberg Diamonds has always focused on creating beautiful jewelry with exceptional attention to detail and quality,” she said. “Monique Lhuillier shares our philosophy.”
Added Lhuillier in the same statement: “Designing a wedding gown is a privilege—it’s a huge part of an iconic and memorable day in a woman’s life. But designing an engagement ring is, in some ways, even more impactful because it’s a permanent symbol of love.”
This story has been updated to include a comment from the press representative from Monique Lhuillier.
