The National Multiple Sclerosis Society—South Florida Chapter will host its 25th Anniversary MS Gala and Fashion Show on Jan. 16, 2008. The event will be held at the Broward County Convention Center at 10 a.m., with more than 1,400 women from the tri-county area are expected to attend. Levinson Jewelers, Plantation, Fla., will be front and center during the event presenting jewelry for a runway show and providing a prize for a charity raffle.

Noted fashion designer Rene Ruiz will receive this year’s Hope Award. Timeless elegance and exceptional craftsmanship have become the hallmarks of Ruiz’s original designs, making him the most coveted designer for South Florida’s most powerful and socially elite.

Ruiz will debut of his new collection with the models will be adorned with jewels provided by Levinson Jewelers.

The National MS Society will raffle and auction off more than 50 gifts, services, dinners, vacations, and other items valued from $100 to $15,000, including a Dior sapphire and diamond watch donated by Levinson Jewelers.

As South Florida’s largest luncheon and fashion show, this event has become one of the most prestigious fundraisers in the community over the past 24 years.
