Parisian bridal designer Laure de Sagazan has debuted a fine jewelry capsule collection with renowned French department store, Printemps.
The Laure de Sagazan x Printemps Joaillerie collection is comprised of nine rose gold pieces set with diamonds. The pieces—a necklace, two bracelets, two rings, and four earring sets—are priced from $1,000–$4,200.
The designs were conceptualized with weddings in mind, but are versatile enough to be worn for various occasions. They also feel decidedly French, in that they’re delicate and intimate-feeling, incorporating reams of rose gold chain in unusual ways, but they’re also undeniably eye-catching and quietly fashionable.
Standout looks include the Feuille ring, a bypass style that pairs finely formed gold leaves with a round rose-cut diamond; the Jonc (which translates from French as “plain band”) wire collar necklace, which is closed with a delicate gold chain and anchors a small diamond-studded tassel on one side; and the Alliance ring (see the top photo), a band inset with diamonds that’s bordered on one edge with a twisted detail.

De Sagazan tells JCK that she wanted to create a jewelry collection, “to go further than offering just a dress—we wanted to propose different options for this very important day. Adding jewels is a way to complete the look and to enhance the overall style. Jewelry gives an extremely elegant and vintage character to the look.” The collection marks the bridal designer’s first foray into fine jewelry.
De Sagazan is devoted to romantic, unfussy style. Last year she told New York Magazine’s The Cut blog that her perfect bride is never “overly theatrical,” adding, “In the hairdo, you can have a wisp of hair going out of the bun. Your eyebrows don’t have to be perfectly styled. And if your hem gets a little dirty or the wrong bouquet shows up, it’s nothing to get uptight about.”
As of April 15, the jewelry collection will be available at the Laure de Sagazan atelier in New York City, on the Printemps website (there’s a preview of it up now, linked above), and in select Printemps locations throughout France.
