Diamond Foundry, the man-made diamond company known for having Leonardo DiCaprio as an investor, will open a retail store in Los Angeles under its Vrai & Oro subsidiary.
Diamond Foundry bought the Vrai & Oro jewelry company last November, a spokesperson said. The store will feature Vrai & Oro jewelry with Diamond Foundry stones.
The store is located at The Row, a new retail complex in downtown Los Angeles.
Founder Vanessa Stofenmacher says it’s possible the company will build other stores.
“Being direct-to-consumer, we’re always looking for ways to connect with and learn from our customers,” she says. “We view this store as an experiment and our plan is to test out this initial location before expanding into additional stores.”
Los Angeles was chosen as its initial location because that is also home to Vrai & Oro’s headquarters.
