It’s fitting that Tiffany Chou’s Jurassic rings come right on the heels of the release of Jurassic World. The New York City–based jewelry designer has been fascinated with prehistoric creatures since childhood, thanks to many hours spent watching Land Before Time.
Each of three models—Brachiosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, and Stegosaurus—is made in 14k antiqued gold plate over brass. One more is still under construction. “I have a Triceratops, but he hasn’t been put on a ring yet,” Chou says. At the moment, just rings are available for $95 apiece retail, and wholesale orders are welcome.
Chou’s fave? The Stegosaurus. “When I was younger I liked long necks, again probably because of Land Before Time,” she says. “But now after having these guys in my collection, I like them because their body plates are cool.”
