Former JCK editor Joe Thompson has joined the staff of Hodinkee, the popular online watch publication.
Thompson has written about the watch industry for 40 years. He was most recently the 17-year editor-in-chief of WatchTime magazine, and before that he was the founding editor of American Time magazine. He was also editor-in-chief of Modern Jeweler and wrote for National Jeweler and JCK.
In January of this year, Thompson won a Gem Lifetime Achievement Award from the Jewelers of America.
