The Jewels Up for Grabs in Columbia Gem House’s Fundraiser

Share

The Pebbles to Pines raffle by Columbia Gem House is now open. Through Oct. 31, entrants can purchase tickets for the chance to win one (or more) of nine jewels donated by designers participating in the MJSA Responsibly Sourced Designs Challenge.

This is the fourth annual online fundraising event from the gem and jewelry company, each year benefiting a different recipient. This year, proceeds will go to the National Forest Foundation, which supports reforesting in locations across the country.

Raffle tickets cost $25 apiece. Each of the nine prizes will have 100 tickets available, and there is no limit on the number of tickets a person can buy (so if there’s a jewel someone really wanted to win, they could buy all 100 of its tickets for $2,500).

The nine jewelry pieces in the raffle are pictured here—including the cuff bracelet in sterling silver by Brenda Smith at top. Per requirements of the MJSA competition, every piece was crafted using the following gems: two marquise-shape Mesa Verde peridot, two round Montana sapphires, four pear-shape Oregon sunstones, and two princess-cut Yogo sapphires.
