Jeremy Allen White’s SAG Awards Brooch—and What It Means for Hollywood Trends

Share

Jeremy Allen White, star of the critically acclaimed Hulu series The Bear, delivered a master class in modern menswear on the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet over the weekend.

Looking as suave as ever while fueling a Hollywood jewelry trend, White punctuated his custom black single-breasted Louis Vuitton tuxedo with a historic brooch from Tiffany & Co.’s exclusive archives.

The diamond, gold, and platinum floral brooch entered Tiffany’s records in 1941, the tail end of the art deco era and a time when jewelry designs became more refined. This piece speaks to the glamour of an earlier age but feels appropriate for a present-day Hollywood awards show.

White has seemingly begun to embrace brooches (storied ones in particular) as a key element of his red-carpet style. At last year’s SAG Awards, for example, he wore a Tiffany Bird on a Rock pin with his ivory Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello suit.

The Tiffany brooch White wore this year carries an additional layer of intrigue, with a touch of contemporary cool. It was one in a trio of brooches worn by Kendrick Lamar during his Super Bowl halftime performance in 2022.

The brooch’s appearance at Sunday’s SAG Awards indicates a growing interest in archival pieces among celebrities. Cynthia Erivo, Selena Gomez, and Mikey Madison wore archival Tiffany pieces at the BAFTAs, and Lady Gaga dazzled in turn-of-the-century Tiffany at the Grammys. Imbued with the romance of the past, these jewels offer not only a special aesthetic but also a certain cachet, a testament to access and influence.
