I’m never surprised to see stunning new jewels from Chicago-based jewelry designer Dana Gordon, the force behind Dana Rebecca Designs, but a pair of earrings she made recently strike me as especially festive for this time of year. The Charlotte Grace earrings in 14k white gold with white mother-of-pearl and colorless diamonds are like your own personal holiday ornaments, hanging stately in a wide design from the ear. The all-white color scheme and negative space in the pair reminds me of snowflakes, and the playful arrangement of pear shapes and melee create a sort of zigzag effect—or is that a spruce tree?—in the center. Whatever you see, I think we can all agree that the earrings would make an ideal gift (and not just for me).
