The name Erica Courtney is synonymous with gobstopper-size, collector-quality gemstones, so when she showed off an entry-level line complete with just 0.2 ct. t.w. of gemstones last week at JCK LUXURY, some expressed concern. Was she feeling okay?
Not to worry. Courtney has a strategy and reason for the small additions. Turns out her staff wanted her to make some more accessible price points of jewelry. The result is 20 Grace SKUs of mini stack rings made in 18k gold. Each features tourmaline and spinel, among other gems, with a dainty center stone flanked by tiny side stones, all weighing about 0.2 ct. t.w. Retail prices start at $2,500, and each is just as drop-dead gorgeous as bigger siblings selling for 10 times the price.
