I’m excited to experience the new location for JCK Las Vegas this year. For those who have been attending the show much longer than I, a visit to the Sands Expo and Venetian will be a familiar one, having been home to JCK previously. But its return to this space brings with it a lot of new: Not only has the space been completely renovated, but the show’s layout will be a new one, too.
One of the spaces getting an upgrade this year is Bella Italia, a pavilion hosting jewelry brands, manufacturers, and designers that hail from Italy. I recently spotlighted the area in JCK Insider and got to sneak a peek at some of the companies that will be exhibiting there.
As you’d expect, there’s some really good gold jewelry. You’ll find some incredible work with cameos and plenty of diamonds. There also promises to be a great big helping of bright, cheery color, and Rajola demonstrates that well.
Founded in Torre del Greco, Italy, in 1926, Rajola began with the production of cameo and coral jewelry. Now in its fourth generation, the family business has seen an expansion in its line, with the use of materials such as lapis lazuli, green agate, quartz, and garnet.
You’ll still find coral and cameos, along with pearl, mother-of-pearl, onyx, and more. The jewelry to me has a nostalgic quality: the kind I’d sneak out of my grandmother’s jewelry box to play dress up, dreaming of having my very own someday.
That day has come, and you can bet I plan to go and play grown-up dress up at Rajola’s show booth this year. You can do the same—and find something special for your store—at booth 20015 in the Bella Italia neighborhood of JCK Las Vegas.
