Perhaps equally enticing to some collectors is the fact that some of the pieces were owned by boldface names like Millicent Rogers, the glamorous granddaughter of Standard Oil partner Henry Huttleston Rogers, known for her impeccable style (and great love of jewelry) and beauty industry magnate Sydell Miller, who founded Matrix with her husband in 1980.
