The jewelry collection of the late Heidi Horten (1941–2022) is expected to be the largest and most valuable private jewelry collection to come to auction. Christie’s presents The World of Heidi Horten in late May in Geneva. With a presale estimate of more than $150 million, the collection is poised to eclipse records at Christie’s, achieved for Elizabeth Taylor’s jewels in 2011 and the 2019 Maharajas & Mughal Magnificence auction—the only two jewelry collections to date to make more than $100 million. If you’re in New York this week, now is your chance to check out the goods at the preview.
