Jemora Gemhouse Inaugural Auction in New York City: March 24–26 (in person)

JemoraFresh from its first showing in Dubai, Jemora Gemhouse, a new auction house dedicated to rare polished colored gemstones, is staging part two of its inaugural auction in New York City this week. The sale will feature a collection of blue, pink, yellow, and padparadscha sapphires from origins such as Kashmir, Madagascar, and Sri Lanka.

Phillips’ 110-lot Hong Kong Jewels auction takes place March 27. The treasures on offer include a bracelet featuring 33.66 cts. of rubies, a 10 ct. emerald-cut diamond ring, a pair of light pink pear-shape diamond earrings totaling about 10 cts., and a necklace boasting 38.8 cts. t.w. Burmese unheated rubies—yowza!

Stuller Bench Jeweler WorkshopStuller’s Bench Jeweler Workshop is back, and takes place this week at the company’s global headquarters in Lafayette, La. The two-day event features hands-on classes and informative demos presented by Stuller experts and industry leaders. Sessions will cover topics including bench demonstrations, applying special finishes, and hands-on with modern CAD.
