Concurrent with the JA New York show, the Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America (MJSA) Expo, the longest-running trade show dedicated to professional jewelry-making and design, opens at the Javits Center today. Alongside the buying opportunities, attendees, both physical and virtual, will discover a hybrid educational program with the launch of MJSA Journal LIVE, a series of in-person seminars based on the technical and business expertise found in the magazine.
Istanbul Jewelry Show at the Istanbul Expo Center: March 24–27 (in person)
Established in 1986, the Istanbul Jewelry Show draws industry professionals from across Europe to the Middle East. A platform for gold and silver jewelry, exceptional design, and machinery, the event, the largest jewelry exhibition in the region, is a perfect excuse to visit this ancient crossroads, a bastion of jewelry craftsmanship and history like no other.
Women’s Jewelry Association New York Metro Mentoring Webinar: March 22, 6 p.m. ET (online)
In “The Magic of Mentoring,” hosted by Hill & Co.’s Andrea Pooler and moderated by National Jeweler’s Michelle Graff, anyone who is considering becoming a mentor or a mentee will learn from two mentor/mentee pairs about their experiences, and how they helped shape their careers.

Stuller’s March Bridal Madness Design Competition: Through March 28 (online)
There’s still time to vote on the designs in Stuller’s annual March Bridal Madness competition, a bridal jewelry design contest hosted on the company’s Facebook page. The entries consist of images or sketches of custom designed engagement rings or wedding bands created from modified Stuller styles. The top three designs with the most likes/reactions will move onto the final round of judging, which is done by a panel of experts at Stuller. The grand prize winner, to be announced April 8, will receive a $1,000 Stuller account credit.
