Richemont is once again reshuffling its top ranks, appointing new CEOs for watch brands Jaeger‑LeCoultre and Vacheron Constantin.
On Nov. 29, the luxury behemoth named Jérôme Lambert (pictured) CEO of Jaeger‑LeCoultre, effective Jan. 1, 2025. The appointment is a homecoming of sorts: Lambert headed the brand from 2002 to 2013. He then moved to Montblanc (also owned by Richemont), where he served as CEO until 2017, when he was tapped to be Richemont’s chief operating officer. One year later, he became the conglomerate’s CEO.
Lambert filled that role until this spring, when he was bumped back to the position of COO—a title he will retain when he takes over Jaeger-LeCoultre.
At Vacheron Constantin, Laurent Perves has been named CEO, also effective Jan. 1. Perves joined the watchmaker in 2016, as chief marketing officer, and became its chief commercial officer in 2021.
Prior to coming to Richemont, Perves was head of brand communication for Audemars Piguet. Before that, he worked for LVMH’s perfume and cosmetics division and Procter & Gamble.
Perves succeeds Louis Ferla, who headed Vacheron for the seven years. In September, Ferla took over as CEO of Richemont-owned Cartier, replacing the retiring Cyrille Vigneron.
