Jewelers of America has hired Regina Ciarleglio (pictured) as director of membership.
She replaces Matthew Tratner, who also serves as publisher of National Jeweler. Tratner is leaving Jewelers of America today to pursue “other opportunities,” a statement said.
In her new role, Ciarleglio will oversee the membership department, including membership development and retention.
Ciarleglio has more than 25 years of experience in the watch and jewelry industries. She began her career at Cartier and has since held positions at Swiss Army Brands, Gucci, and GE Capital. Most recently, she was director of retail development at Worthy Inc.
She has served on the board of the Jewelers Vigilance Committee and is currently on the board of the Women’s Jewelry Association. She is currently attending the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and is a candidate for a Graduate Gemologist degree.
“As an industry professional I have always looked to Jewelers of America as the standard-bearer for integrity in the jewelry industry,” said Ciarleglio in a statement. “I am thrilled to be part of this great organization and work with the amazing team here.”
