At the Isa Grutman flagship store in the Miami Design District, company founder Isabela Grutman invites clients into an environment of curvy furnishings and lots of room to play with jewelry.
“Clients love the cozy, welcoming atmosphere we’ve created—a space where they can relax, whether they’re browsing, purchasing, or just enjoying their time with us,” Grutman says.
On Nov. 10, she hosted a cocktail party at the store during the Latin American Fashion Summit, bringing together conference attendees and speakers and jewelry lovers for drinks, ice cream treats, and some shopping.
The Isa Grutman flagship, which opened May 1, is located on the second level of Miami Design District’s Paradise Plaza, at 151 N.E. 41st St. The feedback so far has been heartwarming, says Grutman.
“Many clients come with friends or enjoy a solo visit, and it’s quickly become a true community hub,” she says. “We offer coffee, matcha, wine, and champagne to make the experience feel truly special.”
Grutman designed the space with a warm, neutral-hued ambience that reflects her brand’s sophistication and graceful aesthetic. The 1,122-square-foot store has plush beige sofas by Italian designer Baxter, stone accents from Arca, and herringbone floors.
The Grutman team worked with interior designer Cristina Souza of MC Studio along with general contractor Al Lopez of Concierge Services to create a lounge-inspired interior, as Grutman describes it. The store’s perimeter features glass-enclosed jewelry displays with gold accents and bespoke lighting to highlight the store’s airy, open-concept design.
The interior decor also include gentle curves in the furnishings and chain details that mirror the chains in Isa Grutman jewelry. These touches create a cohesive, personal atmosphere that represents the essence of the brand, Grutman says.
“With so many clients eager to experience the jewelry firsthand, trying on pieces, and discovering meaningful gifts, opening a physical store felt like the natural next step,” says Grutman, a former model who founded her jewelry company in 2022. “It allows us to bring people closer to the brand in a more personal setting, enhancing the client experience in ways that simply aren’t possible online.”
The store carries Grutman’s signature emerald jewelry as well as an exclusive group of pieces that clients can only find if they visit. Grutman, who was born in Brazil, says she feels Miami is her second home and hopes to host as many people as possible in the space.
“Miami’s culture and atmosphere constantly inspires me, and I feel fortunate to call this city my home,” she says.
Grutman offers a lineup of curated events and activations at the flagship, during the holiday season and year-round. She also uses the space to unveil new collections—an upcoming one that will be complemented by the store’s holiday decorations, says Grutman.
“We’re always seeking new ways to connect with our clients, from hosting exclusive events and luxury activations to offering private styling appointments,” she says. “Our team is continually crafting fresh ideas to make each visit unique.”
