Do you covet the jewelry and accessories of your favorite television character?
Well, now you can buy these pieces for yourself.
Get This Corp. has launched the first iPad app allowing consumers to purchase items they see on their favorite TV shows.
The patent-pending app is designed to allow users to shop by editorial feature, show, episode, cast, or character. It provides three shopping options including original items seen in the show, stylist picks inspired by the original items, and affordable options to get the look for less.
The feature utilizes audio content recognition technology that syncs with select shows, allowing viewers to shop what’s on screen. For instance, viewers who enjoy ABC’s political thriller Scandal can purchase a variety of styles displayed on the show, including Olivia Pope’s leather opera gloves and long necklaces.

Fans of The CW’s fashionable series The Carrie Diaries can virtually browse the closet of teenage Carrie Bradshaw, choosing from accessories such as a turquoise bracelet or geometric statement necklace.

Other shows featured in the app include The Vampire Diaries and House of Rock.
The Get This app is available for free in the iTunes store now.
“Audiences have wanted to shop the items seen in their favorite TV shows for years,” Lisa Farris, Get This founder and CEO, said in a statement. “Previously hard-to-find items are now at your fingertips and we are thrilled to be partnering with some of the industry’s thought leaders to bring Get This to fruition. We are looking forward to collaborating with producers and networks as we add many more shows and events in the months ahead.”
