Veteran jewelry executive Marc Hruschka (pictured) has joined retail technology startup Hero as president of luxury strategy and partnerships.
Hruschka previously served as president and CEO of Chopard USA and chief commercial officer of John Hardy.
He also has also held vice president positions at Chanel and Van Cleef & Arpels, and worked with Cartier, Montblanc, and Tiffany & Co.
Hero is a retail tech company that calls itself “the future of omnichannel retail.” It aims to turn traditional retailers into “smart stores” by giving sales associates the ability to connect with online shoppers via real-time messaging, pictures, video, and live streaming. The technology has been adopted by LVMH, Richemont, Harvey Nichols, Ted Baker, John Hardy, and Jonathan Adler.
The company was founded by Adam Levene in 2015. Alistair Crane serves as CEO.
