Operating across the United States, Hindman is one of the country’s leading fine art auction houses. It’s hosting a fine jewelry auction in Palm Beach, Fla., chock-full of jewelry pieces as fabulous as the town itself. Kicking off on Thursday, the sale can be accessed through Hindman’s digital bid room (the bidding starts at 10 a.m. ET). Including everything from statement brooches to diamond-encrusted bracelets and more (there’s certainly no shortage of gems), we’ve rounded up a few of our favorite pieces from the event.
It doesn’t get much more “Palm Beach” than an 18k yellow gold pineapple brooch. This Tiffany & Co. piece designed by Jean Schlumberger is covered in round mixed-cut sapphires and emeralds (and topped with one round cabochon emerald).
A perfect example of David Webb’s work, this vibrant pendant puts color combinations at the forefront. It features a lapis lazuli disc and a hammered, 18k gold clasp adorned in cabochon gemstones.
If an oversize oval cabochon ruby weren’t enough, Van Cleef & Arpels’ yellow gold cocktail ring is also covered in 56 round brilliant cut diamonds for some extra sparkle.
A sweet sailboat charm, this depicts a window scene looking out over the ocean with a diamond boat, lapis lazuli inlay sky, malachite inlay ocean, and gemstone flower sitting on the sill. Just over an inch wide, it’s a little piece of wanderlust.
With 102 round brilliant cut diamonds delicately woven between twisted, 18k yellow gold rope, Boucheron’s vintage bracelet is all about the details.
Cartier’s 18k yellow gold brooch portrays a budding, textured thistle. It’s stamped and expected to sell for anywhere between $2,500 and $3,500.
David Webb’s carved jadeite panther ring is certainly a statement piece. The two round cabochon rubies are set as the cat’s eyes.
