Los Angeles–based designer Ariel Gordon is a household name among those who wear, appreciate, and covet delicate charm jewelry, stacking rings, and infinitely layerable chain necklaces, so it may come as a surprise that her jewelry business is just 10 years old.
Over the years Gordon has worked to delight her fans with a steady supply of new, and enticingly droll, options, from colorful enamel toadstools and fruit, to pricier, yet still this-side-of-playful, diamond and birthstone jewels for customers who are growing with her and are ready for pieces with more substance.
Recent additions to the line have an undeniably vintage vibe, so it’s only fitting that Gordon has just launched Heritage by Ariel Gordon in honor of her 10th anniversary in the business. Comprising more than 225 vintage pieces she has personally collected and sourced one by one, her picks touch the Victorian, mid-century, and contemporary eras.
All of the pieces have been inspected by a third-generation, GIA-certified estate jewelry dealer to properly date the jewels, identify the materials, and note any imperfections that come with pre-loved items of a certain age.
The collection, which debuted at the end of last month, is releasing in installments through March 18, 2020.
The next drop, titled Golden Girls, is scheduled for Oct. 30 and will include classic gold chains, letter charms, signet rings, and more. A few highlights below.
And here’s a sneak peek of what’s coming later on. (If you’re worried about things selling out—which I totally am—you can sign up for alerts to jump on the goods as soon as they’re live.)
