November is another one of those months that offers multiple birthstone options with gems both warm and cool. For those wanting something on the sunnier side—a perfect match for the autumn atmosphere—there’s citrine. For those who just can’t get on board with shades of orangey-yellow-brown, there’s topaz (of course, you can find topaz in that shade, too).
Most people take a shine to that sky blue color so often seen in topaz, but it’s offered in such a wide range of hues, you’d be hard-pressed to find one you didn’t like. Though you might notice a spike in demand for either of these stones during the month of November, there’s really no bad time to have a great topaz or citrine selection in your store.
