Hearts On Fire Co. has acquired Memoire, a leading supplier of diamond wedding bands and luxury jewelry. Headquartered in Skaneateles, N.Y., Memoire has been a trusted industry leader since its inception in 1984. Memoire will operate as a totally independent subsidiary.
Doug and Nancy McDowell, co-owners of Memoire, will continue in their roles, and plan no changes to the Memoire organization. The addition of Memoire into the Hearts On Fire Co. portfolio of brands is reflective of the company’s strategy to become the world leader in the rapidly growing branded diamond and jewelry category, Hearts on Fire said in a statement.
“The partnership between Hearts On Fire and Memoire gives both companies a natural synergy in the luxury jewelry market.” said Glenn Rothman, CEO and Founder of the Hearts On Fire Co. “Memoire’s outstanding reputation for integrity, product quality and service is a natural match for our corporate culture at Hearts On Fire. We are confident that the combination of Memoire and Hearts On Fire will provide Memoire’s customers with an even more valuable and stronger vendor partner.”
“Nancy and I are excited to join the Hearts On Fire family,” added McDowell. “This is a wonderful opportunity to partner with the most innovative, visionary team that I have been exposed to in my thirty years in this industry.”
Under McDowell’s direction, Memoire has emerged as a leading supplier of diamond wedding bands and bridal jewelry. Best known for quality and service, Memoire has shown tremendous sales increases in recent years and is now poised for exponential growth. McDowell, a highly respected jewelry industry leader, is a member of the Twenty Four Karat Club New York, Twenty Four Carat Club of California, and sits on a number of industry boards including Couture and the Prestige Promenade.
