H. Moser & Cie has opened an American subsidiary, MELB Americas, and appointed Claudio Terjanian (pictured) as its new brand president.

In his new role, Terjanian will oversee brand activities in Canada and the United States.

The son of a jeweler, Terjanian has more than 20 years’ experience in the watch business. He also served as the brand manager for Jaquet Droz, director of retail for Govberg Jewelers, and director of sales for Manufacture Roger Dubuis, according to his profile on LinkedIn.

Founded in 1828, H. Moser was purchased by the Meylan family in 2012. It has since made a name for itself with not only its watches but also with its creative promotions.
