Guy Borenstein (pictured), former exec at Gemewizard, has joined Stuller as senior gemologist, where he will serve as the company’s head gemological authority.
Prior to joining Stuller, Borenstein served as the vice president of gemological services at Gemewizard and the chief gemologist at European Gemological Center and Gemewizard gemological laboratories. He holds an FGA (Fellow of the Gemmological Association) from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, also known as Gem-A, and an EGG (EGL Graduate Gemologist) from the European Gemological College.
He and his family have relocated to Lafayette, La., from Israel.
“Guy is a world-class talent, highly respected among leading gemologists, and we are fortunate to have him join the Stuller team,” said Stanley Zale, Stuller’s vice president of diamond and gemstone procurement, in a statement.
