Parisian jewelry brand Messika announced this week that its founder and creative director, Valerie Messika, has teamed up with supermodel Gigi Hadid to create a capsule collection feting the 10th anniversary of the brand’s popular Move collection.
Dubbed Move Addiction, the collaborative collection is being marketed with a series of beautiful, moody photographs of Hadid shot by acclaimed fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott (aka, Mert & Marcus).
Within the 12-piece collection of diamond jewelry pieces are four pieces—a diamond-studded choker, a long necklace, an ear cuff, and a ring—called Move High Jewelry Addiction, that the maison is billing as haute couture.

In the same statement, the designer characterizes the collection’s aesthetics as the mingling of, “the rebel chic style of fashion’s hottest model and the subtle elegance of the French jewelry maison.”
Messika added that she loved working with Hadid, who has a few fashion collaborations under her belt (including her ongoing collection with Tommy Hilfiger) because “her sense of detail and her discerning eye for fashion completely won me over. Her unparalleled professionalism and her involvement with the maison throughout the development process deeply inspired me. Gigi is the embodiment of the Messika woman. She is spontaneous, sunny, and bright.”
